In an effort to help building industry professionals understand which design strategies are appropriate for their project type in Seattle’s climate, BNIM Architects/Elements created the Implement website. Implement is the City of Seattle’s on-line sustainable building tool that assists in implementing the City’s sustainable building policies. Integrated Design Tools for Water and Energy, Case Studies, Resources and Best Practice information are sorted by project type. Information is housed in an interactive searchable web-based tool and database focused on graphic clarity to make the site easy to navigate. Implement takes the user through a 5-step process informing owners, designers, engineers contractors, developers and other users on how to create a better building.
