We are excited to share that Laura Lesniewski, AIA was selected to serve on the AIA National Strategic Council as a representative of the Central States Region. This is a three-year position that begins in December of this year. Laura was nominated by the AIA Kansas City Board of Directors.

In their nomination letter, the AIA KC Board of Directors noted that Laura envisions a better world and works to make it real. As her peers and collaborators, we are all aware of Laura’s immense talent, vision, and insight, and we are fortunate enough to share in her aspirations for creating human purposed environments across the globe. Her work is transformative, fueled by passion, and encompasses the idea of Building Positive.

True to her humble and gracious nature, Laura commended Mindy Aust from AIA Iowa and Brian Spencer from AIA Omaha for being formidable candidates. She joins Phil Bona, who also serves on the National Strategic Council.
