James Baker supports BNIM’s Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning studio, along with various other projects, as an Administrative Assistant. A graduate of the University of Kansas’s African American Studies program, James is interested in the effect of urban planning, development, architecture and design on immigrant communities and communities of color. He is also interested in the integration of research into BNIM’s practice. James previously worked with the Shawnee Mission School District as a Spanish interpreter and with the Kansas City Public Library as a research and writing intern.

As BNIM’s Director of Design, Steve McDowell is an innovator, and his workplace is a laboratory for exploring ideas related to site, environment and technical investigation. He believes in a lively exchange of thoughts to stimulate exploration and sustain innovation. Steve maintains that good design is about people–their health, productivity and lifting the human spirit through design. His work is setting new standards in high performance design with projects such as The Omega Center for Sustainable Living in Rhinebeck, NY; the Pacific Center Campus Development in San Diego, CA; and the Henry W. Bloch Executive Hall for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Under his leadership, BNIM received the American Institute of Architects Firm Award in 2011.

David Immenschuh

David Immenschuh’s understanding of interiors, as well as buildings, has led the firm in truly integrated solutions that serve user needs and comfort. His leadership in interior design changed the way architects select materials. The interiors group works with vendors and product representatives to educate them on sustainable design as it relates to interiors and FF&E. Under his direction, the interiors department collected information on materials in regards to off-gassing, recycled content, flexibility, longevity, economic benefit, all leading to healthier workplaces.

 

As the firm sets new standards in highly integrated design, Immenschuh has done in-depth exploration on moveable wall partition systems as they relate to the built environment. These studies included detailed questions of the manufacturers and plant visits to assist the team in selecting the best products possible for our client's goals.

 

David is an avid supporter of the fine arts community. He has helped several clients including H&R Block, CBIZ and Blue Cross Blue Shield to develop their art collections from well-known and emerging artists, locally and nationally.

 

Some of his most representative projects in space planning, programming and design include the School of Nursing and Student Community Center at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, Robert D. As a recognized design leader, Shawn is responsible for establishing the design direction on projects within the Los Angeles office using a design ethos that ties research and disruptive ideas to design performance and large-scale, positive change for clients of all types.

His diverse experience, which includes work for technology, creative workplace, education, and mixed-use clients, as well as ongoing academic partnerships with many of the industry’s most notable institutions, has been recognized by the American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) and featured in numerous publications and design journals.

Matthew leads BNIM’s California presence from the firm's office in San Diego, CA. Matthew served as project architect for the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art Addition and Renovation. The building was named Time Magazine’s “Building of the Year” in 2007 along with receiving the national AIA Honor Award. Matthew recently performed a similar role on the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City, MO. His involvement with large, complex projects has allowed him to hone his ability to understand and solve challenging project issues related to functional design, technical integration, long-range scheduling and project needs management. Additionally, his experience with smaller projects has shaped the way he responds effectively to budgetary and scheduling conditions.

Any list of accomplished, influential environmentalists and preservationists includes Bob Berkebile. Highly regarded by fellow professionals, Bob focuses on improving the quality of life in our society with the integrity and spirit of his firm’s work. In 2009, Bob received a Heinz Award from Theresa Heinz and the Heinz Family Foundation for his role in promoting green building design and for his commitment and action towards restoring social, economic and environmental vitality to America’s communities through sustainable architecture and planning. Among his contributions to his industry, Bob is the founding chairman of the American Institute of Architects’ National Committee on the Environment (AIA / COTE) and was also instrumental in the formation of the US Green Building Council and its LEED rating system.

Kristin's prior work experience includes serving as CFO for Cramer, a company that designs and distributes commercial furniture, CFO and Vice President of Development for Samson Dental Practice Management, CFO of Union Bank, and Vice President of Finance for Ferrell Capital. She has also served on the Finance Committee for The Women's Foundation.

 

Kristin has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from Missouri Southern State University. In 2016, Kristin was recognized as a CFO of the Year honoree by the Kansas City Business Journal.

Laura led the design team efforts on the Missouri Department of Conservation’s Anita B. Gorman Discovery Center in Kansas City, a prime example of a public/private partnership that features the first Living Machine™ in the State of Missouri, and she was project manager for the Lewis and Clark State Office Building, a LEED Platinum project. Her recent work includes one of the first Living Buildings in the world for the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY, and a net-zero community redevelopment in Montreal, Quebec.

Tom Nelson is a founding principal of BNIM. In this role and in his personal time, Tom has continuously been involved in civic affairs, particularly those affecting the physical shape of Kansas City. Tom’s commitment to his city is validated by the wide variety of professional and civic activities he has led among peers and urban planners. He was the founder of the AIA KC Chapter Urban Design Committee, the former Chairman of the Kansas City Plan Commission, and past Chairman of the Downtown Council Land Use Committee, the MARC Urban Core Growth Strategies Committee and the Chamber of Commerce Light Rail Committee. At a national level, in 2009 Tom completed a three-year term as regional director for the national chapter of the AIA. Throughout his career, Tom has been widely recognized and honored for his design skill and is regarded for his judgment in urban issues and urban design.

Craig Scranton directs BNIM’s Government practice area. As a project manager, he is particularly adept at working with complex design and management teams, which require special organizational attention and coordination. Having served as project manager for some of BNIM's most complex projects, he has developed an expertise in the design of office buildings and parking facilities. Craig recently competed the GSA’s Internal Revenue Service Kansas City Campus, a 1,000,000 sq. ft. facility on a 27-acres site in Kansas City’s urban core. He was part of the design team for the David & Lucile Packard Foundation in Los Altos, California, where he was instrumental in developing a sustainability matrix. The Packard Matrix, as it became known, continues to help the architectural and construction industries understand how varied levels of sustainable design can impact the environment and business costs throughout the life of a building, beginning with initial construction.

Kevin Nordmeyer brings more than 25 years of highly relevant leadership and design experience to the profession. Prior to joining BNIM, Kevin served as director of the Iowa Energy Center, a research center at Iowa State University with a mission to conduct and sponsor research, education and demonstration projects focused on energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies. Nordmeyer was the Founding Chair of the United States Green Building Council-Iowa Chapter and has served on several boards and commissions including the Iowa Environmental Council, AIA Iowa and the Iowa Commission on Energy Efficiency Standards and Practices. Kevin has also served as a lecturer in the College of Design at Iowa State University since 2003, where he focused on sustainable design education.

Elif Tinney serves as Co-Director of Design for Interiors. She is leading the firm’s interiors work on projects such as Qualcomm’s Pacific Center Campus from BNIM’s office in San Diego, CA. Elif believes that carrying the vision of the client through all the stages of design is critical and that a successful design solution is defined by the integration of sustainable concepts with cost effective and beautiful design solutions. Elif recently led BNIM’s collaboration with the American Institute of Architects and Hanley Wood on a project that defined the office of the future, which became known as the “Open Source Office.” The concept was featured at the 2012 AIA National Convention.

Rob Gray serves as BNIM's Director of Design for Landscape Architecture. Rob has a broad range of experience spanning the fields of planning and landscape architecture that includes community and campus planning, healthcare, public parks, botanical and zoological gardens and entertainment design. He uses this expose to multiple project typologies the ability to provide design leadership across multiple facets of the built environment and public realm. He approaches sustainability as an integrated aspect of design and develops innovative solutions, placing strong emphasis on both the articulation and performance of sustainable practices in the built environment. Previous project experience has included the Uptown Normal Redevelopment in Normal, Illinois, Lincoln Park Zoo Master Plan in Chicago, the McGovern Centennial Gardens in Houston and the master planning and design of LEGOLAND Theme Parks in Japan, Dubai, Denmark and Florida.

Aaron Ross is a Landscape Architect and serves as the Director of Design for Landscape Architecture at BNIM. His interest in sustainable design and urban redevelopment projects initially led him to BNIM, where he has collaborated on many urban design projects including EPA Greening America’s Capitals - Jefferson City, MO, Greater Downtown Area Plan for Kansas City, MO; Make It Right Eco-Playground in New Orleans' Lower Ninth Ward; and Applebee’s International Support Center.

With a diverse background in interiors, architecture, and planning, Christina looks for opportunities to integrate design disciplines and work closely with the people of each community to determine policy, programs, and designs that will help to achieve their aspirations for a more resilient future. Her recent projects include Thunder Valley Regenerative Community Development on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation; Flint Hills Frontiers, an ecoregional plan for 19 counties in Kansas; campus plans for the Kansas City Art Institute and Chatham University’s Eden Hall; Marlborough Community Coalition Catalyst Plan; Transit Oriented Development Policy for Kansas City; Southern Indiana Regional Development Plan; and three EPA Greening America’s Capitals projects in the Midwest.

 

Christina received two Masters degrees from the University of Kansas, in both Architecture and Urban Planning, and a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the University of Houston.

Christianne Jordan is a Graduate Architect in BNIM's San Diego office. Most recently, Christianne has been an integral team member on a two-building development for the Pacific Center Campus. The two buildings achieved LEED Gold certification.

Jeremy Kahm is a Project Manager and Project Architect based in BNIM's Kansas City office. Jeremy's experience includes a key role on a variety of building types and project sizes, including both renovation and new construction. Recent projects include the renewal of Price Gilbert and Crosland Tower at Georgia Institute of Technology; the Pacific Center Campus Development in San Diego; and the addition and renovations of two dining centers at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri.

Rachel has been with BNIM since 2006 and holds the position of Practice Management Administrator. Her knowledge of the design process and practice at BNIM informs her diverse role, as she works alongside project teams and to support the day-to-day administrative needs of the firm.

John brings a wealth of professional architectural experience to his role as a Project Architect on many projects at BNIM. He has been responsible for all project aspects from programming and design to production and implementation and construction administration. His ability to analyze and resolve complex issues makes him an indispensable member of the team. He was a core team member for the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City, MO and most recently applied his considerable expertise to the Henry W. Bloch Executive Hall for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. John uses his leadership and ability to guide multiple design and construction disciplines to work together collaboratively and in unique ways. He has a Bachelor of Architecture from Kansas State University.

Joe Keal is an Associate Principal at BNIM's Kansas City office. He has been involved in a variety of project and client types in the institutional, civic and private sectors. His more significant projects include the Lewis Center for the Arts at Princeton University; Sarofim Research Building at The University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston; Applebee's Restaurant Support Center in Lenexa, Kansas; and the LEED Platinum Kiowa County K-12 School in Greensburg, Kansas.

Since 2008, Joe has served as a part-time faculty member for the University of Kansas School of Architecture where he earned a Master and Bachelor of Architecture.

Carey Nagle is a Project Architect in BNIM's Des Moines office. He has emerged as a strong leader in the design and management of high performance and sustainable projects. Carey's broad range of project experience consists of several office buildings, higher education projects, theaters, and museums. Carey recently served as Project Architect for the LEED Platinum-rated Iowa Utilities Board / Office of Consumer Advocate Office facility for the State of Iowa. Other recent projects include the Psychology and Learning Center at the University of Iowa, and a new addition for Pioneer Hi-Bred's Innovation Center.

 

Carey received his Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State University. In 2016, Carey was received the AIA National Young Architect award.

Recent project experience includes a two-building development on the Pacific Center Campus Development in San Diego; a new Preschool and Psychology facility at Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa; and a study for Dickenson Law Firm in Des Moines, Iowa.

Emily Kruse is a member of the interiors studio in BNIM’s Kansas City office. She has a Masters in Interior Architecture and Product Design from Kansas State University. While at KSU, Emily was a student mentor, a member of Women in Design, and on the staff of KSU’s Oz Journal. Her personal philosophy when it comes to thoughtful design emphasizes the role that psychology can play. Understanding what people do and feel on a daily basis allows her to create healthy, productive, and inspiring spaces.

Sam De Jong, AIA LEED AP BD+C, is a project architect who pursues design with a deep level of care and rigor. His passion of design for social impact is coupled with the belief that interdisciplinary teams create architecture of high quality and innovation. While at BNIM, he has played a significant role in the design, documentation, and implementation of numerous projects, including the award-winning Rockhurst University Parking Garage; the revitalization of Bancroft School; a new Patient-Centered Care Learning Center at the University of Missouri School of Medicine; numerous high-performance projects with the Boy Scouts at the Summit Bechtel Reserve; and the reconstruction of Westport Presbyterian Church.

Jeremy Knoll is a Project Manager at BNIM with a deep passion for green building and social equity. His recent work includes the revitalization of Bancroft School in Kansas City, Missouri, into a neighborhood center with 50 affordable and LEED-H Platinum certified apartments, a health clinic, and neighborhood association offices. In addition to this work, Jeremy is energizing the development of the Laugh-O-Gram Studio (Walt Disney’s first animation studio) in Kansas City, Missouri.

 

Jeremy serves as a volunteer leader nationally, regionally, and locally for both the US Green Building Council and the not-for-profit organization he co-founded, Historic Green. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis.

Hans Nettelblad directs BNIM’s Existing Building sector, which retools and repositions existing buildings to perform better and provide healthier environments for workers. Hans understands how key renovation strategies can help building owners and developers increase market positioning. In 2007, Governor Kathleen Sebelius appointed Hans to the Kansas Energy Council, an expert panel that encourages energy-related production, research and development, conservation and other energy-related economic development. His experience serving as project architect for ongoing projects at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, in addition to leading several projects in the rebuilding of Greensburg, KS led to him being named The American Institute of Architects’ Kansas City Chapter “Architect of the Year” in 2008.

Laura Pastine, AIA LEED AP, is a Senior Design Architect with 17 years of experience in architecture and sustainability focused on developing projects of high design excellence benefiting both built and unbuilt environments.  With a dedication to community architecture, institutions, creative workplaces and cultural projects, Laura is devoted to crafting memorable spaces in the public realm.  Laura’s expertise in experience-based design has expanded her practice into arts spaces and exhibition design, most recently completing the Nelson-Atkin’s Museum of Art’s Plains Indians – Artists of Earth and Sky feature exhibition. 

Before re-joining BNIM, Laura founded an architectural practice that used contemporary design and constructed solutions for small businesses and non-profits, balancing budget and client needs to deliver high-impact spaces through a discovery-based design and lean production process. In the past, she has served as a team member for the Kiowa County Schools project, the Greensburg Business Incubator and the Egyptian Gallery at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City.

Vladimir has more than 30 years of international experience as a practitioner and an educator. He brings to BNIM a critical and strategic perspective in developing urban design approach and working with design teams on generating and sustaining it. He has contributed to a variety of significant projects ranging from international urban design competitions such as Edmonton Airport Redevelopment, to urban development planning and design studies like View High Soccer Complex in Lee's Summit, MO and Chatham University Eden Hall Campus Master Plan, as well as numerous building designs. In addition to BNIM, Vladimir is the Director of the Kansas City Design Center, an academic urban design program that centers on building synergetic relations between professional and civic communities and academia.

Phaedra is an architect, built environmentalist, and associate at BNIM. She co-founded the division of BNIM that for fifteen years helped focus the firm’s work in sustainability and regenerative design and development. With over 20 years of experience in architecture and the sustainable design movement, she has collaborated on many of the firm’s noteworthy high performance projects. She manages the firm’s AIA 2030 Commitment, Carbon Neutral Initiative, and directed the firm’s partnership with Biomimicry 3.8. She creates opportunities to incorporate biomimicry and regenerative design and development processes into BNIM’s work.

Erin uses her architectural education to enhance her role as Director of Communications for BNIM. She currently leads the firm’s communications, public relations and social media outreach. In her career with BNIM, she has developed experience with graphic design, signage and branding projects that explore form, texture, detail and craft. Her passion for the power of words led her to graphic design, and ultimately communications, as an extension of her ongoing architectural studies and a companion to enrich the architectural experience. She has numerous book projects for the firm, including Power, about the Todd Bolender Center for Dance and Creativity and Nurture and Symbiosis, books that explore the design of two important projects at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Rohn Grotenhuis has more than 23 years of experience as an architect, during which he has touched all aspects of the profession — from design and project management, to contracts and staffing. Throughout his career, Rohn has won numerous awards as a designer. His work spans a variety of project types and scales, on all of which he maintains a focus on nurturing client relationships.

Rohn is an integral member of the team working on the renewal and transformation of two library facilities on Georgia Tech’s Atlanta campus. Prior to joining BNIM, his project experience includes the Sea Life Aquarium at Crown Center; Christopher Elbow Chocolates; Outfield Buildings and the Kansas City Royals Hall of Fame, both at Kauffman Stadium; St. Louis Cardinals Busch Stadium Suites and Club Spaces; the International Student Center at Kansas State University; Congregation Beth Torah; and JA Rodgers Academy of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Tom Feldmann offers 15 years of experience leading complex projects, having successfully directed and managed complex phased projects for a number of public and private sector clients. Tom works closely with the design needs of his clients and continues an interactive relationship throughout the duration of the project. Prior to joining BNIM, Tom managed the nearly $40 million, multiple phased University of Iowa Dental Science Building project. Beena Ramaswami is a skilled Graphic Designer with a penchant for technology. In her role at BNIM, Beena designs, produces and manages the firm's brand and collateral, including project books and BNIM's website. She also assists project teams in the design of environmental graphics and project documents. Her experience at BNIM includes leading the design of the firm's website, bnim.com; several feature books including the formally published Flow and Power; environmental graphics for several BNIM building projects; and numerous project deliverable and fundraising documents.

Philip's expertise encompasses sustainable regional and urban design principles and policies supporting green building, renewable energy, water conservation and climate impact reduction. His work as Assistant Vice President of Architecture and Planning at CCDC included developing local, state and federal green building and energy policy. In more than 30 years of practice, he has developed expertise in urban design and planning for redevelopment, community master planning, firm management, project management, architectural design, computer drawing, specification writing and construction administration. Philip’s breadth of project experience encompasses a comprehensive range of projects.

With a formal architectural education, Brandon Wlosinski serves as an Information Services Specialist at BNIM. His knowledge of architecture and deep understanding of technology combine in this role to support BNIM's presence as a cutting-edge national design firm. Brandon helps to support day-to-day technological needs at BNIM, but more importantly, he keeps his finger on the pulse of what is new and emerging in the arena of design technology.

Brandon received his Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State University in 2013.

Paul Waters is an IS Systems Administrator at BNIM. To this role he brings extensive experience in systems administration, networks and technical support. Prior to joining BNIM, he was the IT Manager for Garsite, a global provider of aviation refueling equipment. His past work experience includes a broad range of industries including technology, education, and manufacturing.

 

Paul has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology and a Masters of Information Systems from the University of Phoenix.

Kyle Rogler

Kyle has architectural experience in various building types and phases of design across the country. A graduate of Kansas State University, Kyle was a part of the Kansas City Design Center, a collaborative studio of architects and planners that created an urban vision plan for the West Bottoms of Kansas City. He has lived, worked, or studied in both Germany and Japan, which has given him a breadth of experiences that he draws upon to inform his work.

 

Kyle is very active in the architecture community in Kansas City, being a part of the American Institute of Architects, Young Architects Forum, and USGBC Emerging Professionals. He was the lead communications and exhibit designer on Transform Kansas City, a collaboration between the Kansas City Regional Transit Alliance and the Kansas City Chapter of the American Institute of Architects' Young Architects Forum showcasing how sustainable transportation can transform Kansas City.

Chad-Jamie Rigaud is a design team member in BNIM's San Diego office. Chad's strength is synthesizing ideas and vision into constructable solutions. Most recently, Chad has been an integral team member on a two-building development for the Pacific Center Campus. The two buildings achieved LEED Gold certification.

Chad received a Bachelor of Architecture with a Minor of Art / Art History from the University of Miami.

Ashley Lawrence is an Architectural Graduate at BNIM. She is passionate about human-centered design, and she utilizes innovative design solutions to enhance the experience and abilities of people within a building. She is deeply engaged with her community, using her talents to create healthy environments and improve productivity. Ashley is also interested in building performance analysis — an approach that uses iterative tests, analysis and studies during the design phase to measure a building’s future environmental impact and performance.

Janelle Kimsey is an administrative assistant for the Landscape and Planning studio in BNIM’s Kansas City office. She has a Masters of Interior Architecture and Product Design from Kansas State University. Previously, Janelle has worked at the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art, where she wrote grants for artist workshops, gave tours, and created after-school programs for kids. She has also volunteered for Project Change.

Dan Brown is a Graduate Architect at BNIM. He has a passion for urban architecture and its role within sustainable urban ecology. He uses an iterative design process to enhance the complex relationships between the human and urban scales. Dan is also focused on building performance analysis — a process that uses conceptual studies to test and analyze a building’s design, performance and future environmental impacts.

 

Dan is a distinguished graduate from the University of Kansas, where he received his Master’s degree in Architecture, while acting as a student mentor and graduate teaching assistant. Dan has a Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Kansas, as well as Under Graduate degrees in Communication and Sociology from the University of San Diego.

 

His most recent work includes Price Gilbert – Crosland Tower Renewal for the Georgia Institute of Technology, as well as the Patient – Centered Care Learning Center at the University of Missouri.

Emily Thompson is a Graduate Architect in BNIM’s Kansas City office. In this role, Emily supports project teams through each phase of the design process. Most recently, Emily has worked on projects for Georgia Tech University and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She is currently assisting in construction administration for the University of Missouri.

Emily earned a Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. She also received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture with a Minor in Art Studio from the University of Kentucky.

Kelly is a graphic designer from Seattle who moved to Kansas City with her husband Cal and dog Henry in the fall of 2014. A passion for editorial design led Kelly to pursue a career in visual communications. She uses her love of layouts and experience in crafting dynamic compositions to assist in the interview and proposal process at BNIM.

 

A fashion enthusiast and pursuer of the minimal, she believes in the impact of intention, the power of purposefulness, and the boldness of simplicity. She is zealous about communicating/story-telling visually and evoking thoughtfulness in others. When not designing, Kelly can be found in the dance studio, cooking, traveling with her husband, or designing and making jewelry.

Liz Sears joined BNIM as the Administrative Assistant in Human Resources.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Denver.  She previously worked in not-for-profit management and was the Marketing Coordinator for a publishing company that specialized in onsite convention materials for professional organization and trade associations.  Her passion is using her administrative skills as a site coordinator for Angel Tree’s Christmas program, providing a connection between inmates and their children during the holiday season.

Rosemary joined BNIM’s Kansas City office as an architectural graduate.  While finishing her Master of Architecture at the University of Kansas, she worked on healthcare and education projects throughout the KC metro area.  She earned her Bachelor of Sciences in Computer Aided Drafting and Design from the University of Central Missouri.  She is active in USGBC Emerging Professionals and has worked with Engineers Without Borders and as a Cooking Construction Design Mentor.

Kyle Patneau joined BNIM’s Kansas City office as an experienced architect. He is an active member of AIA Kansas City, having participated in the Pillars Program and volunteering for the Educational Outreach committee. Kyle’s past experience includes work in office design, commercial retail and restaurant design, and multi-tenant shell building design. He is also a furniture designer and fabricator, and he was an Arts Incubator member from 2006-2011.

 

He has a Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State University.

Originally from Dallas, Dylan Rupar graduated this past May from Kansas State University with a Masters of Architecture.  Dylan participated in the BNIM Summer Studio in 2013 and is excited to be back at BNIM, in its Kansas City office.  While studying at K-State, he placed first in the Beaux’s Arts Ball Art Competition and the Sunset Funerary Chapel Competition.

Stephen Sanda joined the BNIM Des Moines team as an experienced architectural graduate.  He has a Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State University.  Prior to joining BNIM, Stephen worked in Omaha, Nebraska where his projects included the School of Dentistry; Lauritzen Outpatient Facility, University of Nebraska Medical Center; and the Learning Community Center of North Omaha.  He recently served as President for Oration Omaha, Toastmasters International and is currently a board member for Love’s Jazz and Arts Center.

Paul Kempton is a licensed Architect in BNIM's Des Moines office. He is an integral team member on a growing number of notable BNIM projects, including an expansion to the Des Moines Community Playhouse and the Overland Park Downtown Parking Plan.
