community / Description
Through our collaborative process and in-depth contextual research, BNIM works with communities to discover authentic solutions for their specific set of challenges. Our discovery process explores issues of environment, function and context, which broadens the design possibilities for both the client and the community. This philosophy of integration has helped us establish successful models of vital community living both nationally and internationally.
The current Plan includes recommendations for growing a sustainable future at Oberlin College and the town of Oberlin.
The team used the urban design principles of walkability, mixed-use, connectivity, compactness, sustainability and community for this development.
BNIM was retained by the City of Riverside to create the Comprehensive Master Plan and Implementation Guidelines to lead the City into a new decade.
