Research+Reports / Description
BNIM is recognized as a leading national resource for innovation, research, design and new methodologies that continue to shape the national and global agenda for responsible architecture. Leadership in the architectural profession means establishing what is and what will be possible, while ensuring that practitioners readily have the tools to succeed. Through strategic partnerships with manufacturers, foundations, professional organizations, municipalities, universities, clients and other professionals, we not only further our own work, but we develop tools and practices that ensure the continued positive transformation of our industry and our built environment. We can help you explore design solutions and ideas that demonstrate how to design, build and operate in a regenerative, profitable way.
The case studies presented in this paper indicate that one of the most important benefits of a process of dialogue is a community that has developed shared goals and leaders to ensure progress toward those goals over time.
The REGEN tool is a work in progress and intended to support any regenerative design and development process, particularly in the early planning and design stages, with new questions and new types of information organized into a web of interconnection.
The Sustainability Report & Matrix was the BNIM design team’s response to setting sustainability goals for a proposed headquarters for the David & Lucile Packard Foundation.
