BNIM worked with the City of Fargo to update the City's Comprehensive Plan. The updated Plan establishes the community’s vision for the future of Fargo, addressing major issues facing the City's growth and prosperity including the increasing frequency and severity of flooding events. The plan analyzes opportunities for increases in energy efficiency, affordable housing, increased transit, and promoting walkable, vibrant, healthy neighborhoods. The public defined the vision of the plan and the recommendations will drive Fargo’s future for the next 20 years.

The Fargo Community Vision document represents the community’s vision for the future of Fargo. BNIM and the planning team combined hundreds of ideas shared in community meetings and online to create a vision document that gives a snapshot of the planning work done to date and is a precursor to the comprehensive plan.
