![]() Paseo High School Designed for 1,200 students, this magnet high school for the fine and performing arts is built on the site where the original Paseo High School stood. This school includes many specialized spaces including large dance studios, a ceramics lab, a painting lab along with other arts rooms, two large instrumental rooms (band and orchestra) and vocal music studios, as well as six private practice rooms. Other specialized spaces include science labs and prep areas, a health center with lab, a gymnasium, learning resource center, an administrative wing, and classrooms. | Paseo High School |

Designed for 1,200 students, this magnet high school for the fine and performing arts is built on the site where the original Paseo High School stood. Other specialized spaces include science labs and prep areas, a health center with lab, a gymnasium, learning resource center, an administrative wing, and classrooms. Kansas City, Missouri The building was especially challenging due to complex program requirements compounded by a very tight, steeply sloping urban site. Paseo Academy was designed upward rather than outward, as a suburban school would be and the high school is four stories rather than a conventional one- or two-story building. | |
