About the Art: Color and the play of light are the strongest inspirations of my images... and framing the moment in a strong visual dynamic. Textures and the play of in and out of focus elements in my images harks back to my painting days. I love to get lost in the intricacies of an image. Modern digital technology has brought the joy of color printing within my grasp, before which it was mostly left to labs and therefore mostly out of my control. The selection of images for this show at BNIM was inspired by the firm’s strong involvement with sustainable architecture, and the theme of water seemed to be a good fit.
