31st and Troost Panel Discussion at BNIM

31st and Troost Panel Discussion at BNIM

BNIM will be hosting a 31st and Troost Panel Discussion at their headquarters, 2460 Pershing, Thursday evening from 4:30-6 p.m. Panelists include: Chris Jehle, Senior Manager of Community Impact at United Way of Greater Kansas City; Father Justin Matthews, Executive Director at Reconciliation Services; Mary Esselman, President and CEO at Operation Breakthrough; and Susie Rollings from Journey to New Life. The discussion will cover issues, challenges, and opportunities in and around the Troost Corridor – specifically near 31st Street. Building off BNIM's work with Reconciliation Services, Thelma’s Kitchen, and the KC-CUR Revitalization Scenario, the conversation will be geared towards larger, more complex challenges of the area to provide context for individuals who wish to become more involved and provide advocacy or suppoort in their personal time. This event is part of BNIM's month of giving through the Live United | Give United campaign.
