Facades+ KC Conference: Enclosure Innovations in the Midwest

Facades+ Kansas City will bring together architectural, engineering, construction and design professionals and students from across the Midwest for the Enclosure Innovations in the Midwest conference, co-chaired by Populous on July 30. The conference will feature a series of panel discussions on topics including Bespoke Facades: Design Methods for Custom Enclosures, Experimentation and Advancements in Fabrication, and Resilient Facades: Disaster Safety Methods as well as sponsor workshop sessions.

BNIM Associate Principal, Joyce Raybuck, AIA LEED AP, will serve as a panelist, alongside other architectural design professionals in the discussion of Resilient Facades: Disaster Safety Methods. The program will feature discussion and case studies focused on façade and structural strategies in response to extreme weather events such as high wind speeds and solar radiation.
