JCCC Fine Arts + Design Studios (FADS) Building Opens

A ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony for the newly completed Fine Arts + Design Studios (FADS) building at Johnson County Community College will take place Friday, April 26 at 1 p.m. The 41,650 square-foot facility provides a new home for graphic design, sculpture, ceramics, metals, painting, drawing, photography, and filmmaking. Spaces include classrooms and studio space, material storage, multiuse common spaces, a gallery, as well as display and collaboration spaces throughout building corridors. JCCC FADS joins the Wylie Hospitality and Culinary Academy, the Carlsen Center, and the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art to create an arts neighborhood on campus. The project is owned by Johnson County Community College; was designed and led by architect BNIM, with engineering services by The Clark Enersen Partners and SK Design Group, and construction by JE Dunn Construction.
