Jeremy Knoll Featured in USGBC+ Magazine for Local Climate Justice Advocacy

In the Spring 2023 Issue of USGBC+ Magazine, Jeremy Knoll is featured for his climate action efforts and initiatives as BNIM's Director of Sustainability and Regenerative Design, and President of Climate Action KC. The article delves into how LEED professionals, such as Jeremy, are collaborating with local organizations to promote environmental justice and encourage climate action within their communities.

At BNIM, Jeremy Knoll is guiding project teams to take climate action by setting sustainability standards, working with clients to develop a decarbonization plan for their buildings, and defining small, actionable steps to fulfill the firm's commitments to achieving a carbon-neutral, net zero emissions and net zero energy future. Jeremy is empowering people to take climate action through his work at the firm and advocacy as President of Climate Action KC, a regional collaborative to create a more equitable, healthy, and resilient Kansas City region. One of Climate Action KC's pillar programs is an annual summit which creates space for elected officials, city and municipal staff, climate experts and professionals, students, and members of the public to gather for a dialogue on creating solutions to make a positive impact. The organization is also working on two other programs: the Building Energy Exchange, which empowers residents to improve their energy and carbon future, and Plug in KC, which aims to electrify mobility in Kansas City.
