Makers Quarter Block D featured in San Diego Architecture Tour

As part of the San Diego Architectural Foundation (SDAF) annual Open House San Diego, Makers Quarter Block D will be open and on display from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019. Guided tours of Block D will be given every 30 minutes with a reservation, which can be made here. The free event will be held Saturday and Sunday include over 100 architecturally-significant locations across San Diego, featuring both new buildings as well as historically significant sites such as the Salk Institute and Balboa Park. Block D is a six-story collaborative office hub at the heart of Makers Quarter in San Diego's East Village, a five-block creative environment designed to inspire entrepreneurs and artists to challenge convention and achieve new heights in innovation. The building is targeting LEED Platinum Certification and NetZero Energy use, the first commercial office building in downtown San Diego to do so.
