Net Zero Case Study: Makers Quarter Block D Showcased for Design Excellence at AIA San Diego a’22 x SD Event

An in-person building tour of Makers Quarter Block D will be given on Thursday, September 29th as part of AIA San Diego’s a’22xSD event. Little a’22 is the Chapter’s updated Annual Mixer; a local version of (big) AIA’s Conference on Architecture. This event showcases Design Excellence in San Diego and comprise educational programming, a trade show, and networking, all with a focus on Climate Action.

Makers Quarter Block D is a Net Zero, LEED Platinum 6-story collaborative office hub in the heart of the Makers Quarter development. This five-block development in downtown San Diego is a conscious development of lifestyle, residential, and business properties, designed to reflect the artistic integrity and maker spirit of the neighborhood. The building tour of Block D will be led by SPACES Senior Executive Kenta Gauba.
