Rivo Holdings named a "Cool Office" by San Diego Business Journal

The workplace that BNIM designed for Rivo Holdings is in the July 10 issue of the San Diego Business Journal featuring the coolest office spaces in San Diego.

The article establishes that employee-focused work spaces is not simply a differentiator, but is a core requirement in the best work environments.

Millenials make up 80 percent of the Rivo Holdings' workforce, so the space creates a sense of community through multiple types of spaces for employees to work, relax, or come together. Features like a stairwell connecting the two floors further the sense of community and create a way for employees to stay moving during the day. Cool work spaces are not just for tech companies. Other industries are benefitting from the broad appeal of a welcoming and comfortable work environment.

“We are essentially creating quiet places to focus: biophilic spaces which remind us of our connection to nature; and living rooms where we connect to each other face-to-face."
—Elif Tinney, Associate Principal, Director of Design for interiors at BNIM San Diego
