Stanley Museum of Art Ceremonial Groundbreaking

A ceremonial groundbreaking for the Stanley Museum of Art at the University of Iowa took place at Friday afternoon, June 7. The 63,000 square-foot museum will host museum collection exhibitions, traveling exhibitions, artwork storage facilities, and space for study and research. The project will be the final structure to be rebuilt after the 2008 flood, replacing the former building completed in 1969. Read more about the project here.
