American Equity Headquarters

With a national reach for its investment life insurance services, BNIM worked with American Equity to envision a new headquarters that would foster an environment of connectivity and collaboration, both internally and for connecting with its nationwide partners. Planning studies considered not only its current employees, but planned for future growth strategies that can accommodate upward of 1,000 employees, for both on-site and visiting staff. The new headquarters incorporates neighborhood-style open workstations that are supported by a spectrum of flexible working and social spaces, a variety of enclosed meeting spaces, and employee support spaces such as break areas and wellness rooms. A consolidated conference center provides dedicated learning lab space, a training room, and large, flexible conference rooms that can operate independently or open up to host several hundred people for company meetings or events. The new headquarters will support the vision of how American Equity re-imagines their operations for the next generation of their company.
