BNIM participates in KC Global Design’s Educators Tour and Share the KC Love Intern Event
BNIM was excited to be a part of KC Global Design’s Educators Tour and Share the KC Love Intern Event this June. KC Global Design is a collective that unites industry leaders to attract top AEC professionals to the Kansas City region, elevate the region’s reputation, and drive sustainable, inclusive design solutions worldwide.

KC Global Design Educators Tour
Our firm partnered with KC Global Design and DRAW Architecture on the second annual KC Global Design Educators Tour — an event which brings together visiting educators to our Kansas City region to connect with AEC industry leaders, to gain insight into innovative projects and creative collaborations happening in our community, and to engage conversations around the industry landscape, its evolving talent pipeline, and preparing students for careers in the built environment.
This year, the Educators Tour welcomed Louise Harpman, Professor of Architecture, Urban Design and Sustainability at New York University, and Paola Sanguinetti, Director of The Design School at Arizona State University. Paola has also served as an External Board Member on BNIM’s ESOP Board of Directors since October 2024, bringing strategic insight into design innovation, organizational leadership, and emerging technologies that strengthen BNIM’s future practice.

KC Global Design Share the KC Love Intern Event
BNIM’s 2026 interns group participated in the Share the KC Love event in Kansas City on June 17. The event welcomed over 200 interns from across the KC metro area to participate in a morning of networking, learning about Kansas City’s AEC community and career building, and touring one of Kansas City’s immersive art experiences, Atlas 9. BNIM employee-owner Hannah Gray Taylor also moderated the Share the KC Love event’s “KC 101” panel discussion, which provided career insights from young professionals in the AEC industry.
