Mira Mesa Epicentre Opens to the Public

Mira Mesa Epicentre is officially open after a nearly decade long closure!

The adaptive reuse project consists of an 8,000 SF youth community facility with 12,000 SF of open space that will serve the Mira Mesa community. The Epicentre project holds cultural significance for the community, as it will provide a replacement for the former teen music venue and preserve an important cultural tradition in the area.

The project builds upon project objectives developed by the County of San Diego Department of Parks and Recreation and the Mira Mesa community for this facility, including re-establishing youth focused programing and activities; providing opportunities for people of all ages; and serving as a hub for the San Diego/Safe Destinations Nights program.
