Katie has maintained dedicated involvement in AIA Kansas throughout her career, and she is actively involved in advancing initiatives for equity and inclusion at BNIM and across the profession. She has contributed focused design leadership on various Overseas Buildings Operations projects and Keeler Court Apartments in San Diego, CA, and her recent project leadership includes the Dr. E.J. and Margaret O’Brien Hall, new home for the College of Business Administration and Graduate School of Management at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI; Congregation Beth Shalom Sanctuary Addition in Overland Park, KS; and the design of the future Camp Tongawood for the Girl Scouts of Northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri.
