Joe Keal to Guest Lecture at Washington State University

On Tuesday, October 18 BNIM Principal Joe Keal will lecture at Washington State University, a guest of Professor Sue Lani Madsen. Presenting on the topic of "Community Engagement Lessons from Greensburg," Joe will discuss his experience working in Greensburg, Kansas, as well as the challenges and successes of implementing high-performance, human-centered design principals through the development of community, sustainability guidelines, a long-range community masterplan vision and various building projects. The story of rebuilding Greensburg is intended to serve as a good background for fostering sustainable community design and development.
