Joyce Raybuck named to Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Centurions Leadership Spring 2021 Class
Joyce Raybuck, AIA, LEED AP, Associate Principal, was named a member of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Centurions Leadership Program in the Spring cohort, which will begin in the fall due to COVID. Joyce will join fellow emerging Kansas City leaders in the Spring 2021 Centurions Class, learning about and serving the Kansas City community.
“Joyce understands what it means to be a leader in design and utilizes her knowledge and experience to lead teams efficiently and effectively,” said Steve McDowell, FAIA, and Centurions Class of 1991 alumnus, “She has a very confident and calm demeanor that helps her gain the confidence of colleagues, collaborators and clients…In Joyce, I see characteristics and qualities that I am confident will benefit our communities and City.”
As a Project Architect and Studio Director in BNIM’s Kansas City office, Joyce has extensive experience in design and sustainability. Her background includes national and international experience on innovative projects in higher education, embassy design, and urban development, including her current project leadership on the U.S. Embassy renovation in Nouakchott, Mauritania, and Strata office project in downtown Kansas City. Joyce is co-leader of the Women in Design group and Sustainability Group at BNIM, in which she has helped develop a strategic and aspirational action plan to redouble the firm’s commitment to the next generation of sustainable design.
