Three Honor Awards Received at AIA Kansas Design Awards

BNIM recieved three honor awards for excellence in Design at Thursday's AIA Kansas Design Awards. Winners included Jacobs Well Addition, Makers Quarter Block D, and Seaton Hall Renovation + Expansion. Chaired by Anne Marie Duvall Decker, the jury had the following comments about the projects:

Makers Quart Block D: "The simple sophistication of this design reveals itself over time. The sustainability agenda and goals are serious and well-integrated into the form of the building."

Jacobs Well: "Detailing is restrained and simple. Systems are integrated cleanly. The sections beautifully compose natural light and views, promoting a sense of sacred space."

Seaton Hall: "The complex of buildings is responsive to the surrounding context and beautifully connected to the campus landscape."
