Elvis Achelpohl

Elvis Achelpohl is an architect in BNIM’s Kansas City office who demonstrates significant leadership through his projects and firm contributions as well as through his involvement in academia and with the artist community. To all of his efforts, Elvis brings a truly unique voice and perspective that are tied directly to his passion for the arts. He has served as a key team member on a number of significant cultural projects, including the Zhou B Art Center Kansas City, the REACH Expansion at the John F. Kennedy Center, and the Princeton University Lewis Center for the Arts. Recently, Elvis has been contributing to BNIM’s work in Springfield, Missouri with the renovation of the Springfield Art Museum and its associated Urban Design Framework study. Outside of the office, Elvis serves as Board Chair for the Charlotte Street Foundation, on the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art’s Business Council Steering Committee, and co-leads the BNIM-sponsored architectural design studio at Kansas State University.
