Dana Sorensen

Dana Sorensen is an Associate Principle in BNIM’s Des Moines office. In this role, he serves as a leader in sustainability, high performance envelope design, and is a sought-out resource within the firm for his design collaboration. He has a passion and commitment to achieving design excellence through rigorous attention to detail and wholistic design performance. Dana serves as a leader within the firm and has held key roles in projects such as the University of Iowa Visual Arts Building, Lutheran Church of Hope Ankeny and Grimes locations, the Des Moines Heritage Trust, the Iowa State University Gerdin Business Building expansion for the Ivy College of Business, and The University of Iowa Stanley Museum of Art. Dana earned a Bachelor of Architecture with Minors in Digital Media from Iowa State University.
