Maria Maffry leads business development and thought leadership at BNIM, working closely with the firm’s employee-owner design team members to strengthen relationships, cultivate opportunities, and elevate the impact of their work in communities. She is committed to nurturing a culture that empowers emerging leaders and encourages them to bring their full talents, curiosity, and voice to the practice. Under her guidance, BNIM has continued to expand its reputation for design excellence, sustainability, and forward-looking practice as it grows its international presence.
She is a graduate of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Centurions Leadership Program Class of 2000 and was named to the Kansas City Business Journal’s Women of Influence Class of 2015. Her civic involvement includes service on the University of Kansas Advancement Board, the UMKC Bloch Advisory Council, and the Enterprise Bank Advisory Board.
