Carey Nagle

Carey Nagle is a Principal in BNIM's Des Moines office. Carey is proven leader in the realm of high-performance design excellence. His leadership, characterized by humility, integrity, and dedication to delivering the best possible design outcomes, has transformed architectural practice at BNIM and across the U.S. He is a holistic practitioner with a broad range of notable project experience consisting of museums and cultural facilities, higher education projects, office buildings, adaptive reuse and modernist preservation. Carey's notable project experience includes the historic preservation and renovation of American Enterprise Group Headquarters; the LEED Platinum certified and COTE Top Ten / Top Ten Plus Award recipient Iowa Utilities Board-Office of Consumer Advocate Office; and most recently, the new University of Iowa Stanley Museum of Art.

Carey received his Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State University. In 2016, Carey received the AIA National Young Architect award.
