Associate Principal, Director of Brand Identity

Beena Ramaswami is a communication designer and systems thinker with a deep interest in how design and technology shape organizations. At BNIM, she conceptualizes and develops identity systems, branding, publications, environmental graphics, and the firm’s website. Her work includes environmental graphics for the UC Berkeley Center for Connected Learning, UMKC Bloch Executive Hall, Princeton University Lewis Arts Center, among others, as well as publications such as All, Flow and Power.

Beena brings a holistic lens to initiatives that strengthen communication, clarity, and collaboration across BNIM. Her work supports the evolving needs of the practice. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Anna University in Madras, India, and a Master of Architecture from Kansas State University.
